Dan Doughty is absolutely wonderful to work with. It’s like having a friend on the “inside” who is working for you. He really cares about his clients as well as the community and neighborhood he lives in.

Dan did an outstanding job helping me find property in the Cashiers, NC area! His knowledge of the area was invaluable. Highly recommend Dan to potential buyers in the area.

Dan was extremely helpful and professional. His “thinking outside the box” allowed us to sell a house in 9 months that I had been attempting to sell for about 5 years.

Dan’s knowledge and professionalism are unsurpassed - he has amazing energy, and his contacts in the mountains are unrivaled. He is a pleasure to work with - Dan helped us with negotiating a contract that was very complex; his patience and knowledge proved helpful. We found some issues with the property we were buying, and through Dan's contacts, we had several bids within a few days that removed our concerns. We highly recommend Dan Doughty.

I was a first-time homebuyer, and Dan was there every step of the way, even after closing, making the whole process less stressful than I was anticipating. Provided all contact information for local vendors, which enabled me to close earlier than expected. Very prompt in answering any questions or concerns that I had.

When we were visiting the area, Dan took us around to several of his listings, and the difference was night and day. He approaches every home with an artist’s eye and a sense of theater. I hired him because I knew he wouldn’t just list the home, he would merchandise it. And he did. From curb appeal to fresh flowers, an American flag, music playing, and every door open, Dan prepares each home like it’s the most important one on the market. He even vacuumed the floors himself before a showing. I’ve been in real estate for many years, and Dan is one of the most energetic, positive agents I’ve ever worked with. He hosted a preview party at our home. It ...

I met Dan by chance, but I chose him for a reason. From the first moment we spoke, when he came down the mountainside with his dog and that signature energy, I felt instantly welcomed. He didn’t need to say hello, but he did. That warmth turned into a genuine friendship and eventually into one of the most seamless real estate experiences I’ve ever had. Dan has an uncanny ability to read both people and spaces. When it came time to stage and list my home, he curated every detail with a thoughtful eye. Inside and out, the property became something extraordinary. Everyone who has walked through it has said the same thing: if they bought the house, they...

Working with Dan as a buyer for the first time felt like the natural next step. I’ve partnered with him multiple times as a seller, and the through line is the same: he’ll do whatever it takes to create a success story for his clients. He’s meticulous and goes above and beyond.
This time, the staging didn’t just make the home look good—it clarified the investment. I could see exactly how it would perform as a short-term rental, which is why I bought it. I purchased the staging with the home, and it made the transition seamless. No interior designer, no weeks of decisions—just close, turn the key, and start generating income.

Knowledge, experience, integrity. I've done numerous real estate deals, the last 3 with Dan. There's no one else I would use.
